Chocolate & Almond Butter Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 egg or 1 tbsp of blended flax seeds with 3 tbsp of water

  • 1/2 cup (120 gr) of almond butter (smooth one)

  • 1/2 cup (60 gr) of almond flour

  • 1 tbsp of coconut sugar

  • 1 tsp of salt

  • 1/3 cup (60 gr) of dark chocolate

How

  1. Blend all the ingredients except the chocolate.

  2. Preheat the oven at 360F (180°).

  3. In the meantime, form some balls with the cookie dough and then flatten the balls.

  4. When the oven is ready put the cookies in the oven and let them bake for 18 min (or 20 if you prefer your cookies drier).

  5. In the meantime, melt (at a low temperature) the dark chocolate in a pot with 1/4 of water and keep stirring. (This step and the next one are optional. If you feel like the chocolate is too much feel free to step these steps.)

  6. Once the cookies are ready, let them cool down for 30 min or more and then soak one half in the melted chocolate.

  7. Save the chocolate almond butter cookies in the freezer for 30 min and then conserve them in the fridge.

  8. Enjoy.
